More Best Lyrics Ever

Let's try some more:

  • "There must be some kind of way out of here, said the joker to the thief," Hendrix (Dylan, really)
  • "Oh yeah, life goes on, long after the thrill of livin' is gone," John Mellencougercamp
  • "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with," CSNY (but maybe someone else originally)
  • "She was a fast machine, she kept the motor clean, she was the best damn woman that I ever seen," AC/DC (ok, it's terrible, but is there anyone under 40 who doesn't know these words?)

You've got a bit of a classic rock bent here. How bout a little country: "You never count your money when you're sitting at the table. . . ." I think this has influenced an entire generation of poker players.

I totally agree, I've been stuck on a 70's riff. And seriously, isn't almost every line in the Gambler memorable?
